A new search engine dedicated to calls for proposals has been launched, offering enhanced and more precise search options compared to the previous EuropeAid platform.

From March 2023 onwards, all new calls for proposals will be published on the Funding & Tenders Portal in addition to the old portals. All the previous calls already published will not be affected.

The European Voluntary Humanitarian Aid Corps, has started and the PuntoSud Academy is part of the consortium which is in charge of the design and delivery of a comprehensive learning program for prospective volunteers.

Global calls for proposals to strengthen civil society organisations

DG ECHO will proceed with the roll out of the Programmatic Partnerships in 2023 by mainstreaming the model in geographic Humanitarian Implementation Plans (HIPs). A general guidance for partners has been developed.

A new version of the PRAG has been published on the 24th of June.

The new policy document summarises the position of the DG ECHO on the use of cash transfers in responding to humanitarian needs and presents operational guidance setting out DG ECHO’s expectations in the field of humanitarian cash assistance.

DG ECHO, together with its partners, has developed  project-level minimum environmental requirements for partners, covering priority areas. The reults have been published in the document "Minimum Environmental Requirements and Recommendations"

DG INTPA - Unit D.3 - organised a conference where some relevant aspects of the NDICI - Global Europe instrument have been explained.

The European Commission has shown a long-standing interest in RBF approaches. In late 2019, the Center for Global Development ntered in a research partnership with DG INTPA to develop operational guidelines for the use of results-based financing.
