NEW Guidelines for communication and visibility activities for external actions

The 2018 Communication and Visibility Manual has been replaced with the "Communicating and raising EU visibility: Guidance for external actions".

In principle, the new guidance is applicable also to contracts and agreements concluded before its publication to the extent that this is permitted by the corresponding contractual provisions.

The Guidelines define the Visibility obligations and provide detailed information on the use of the EU Emblem (see also this document).

Concerning communication activities, this guidelines reflect the shift from communication and visibility budgets and activities in individual projects/programmes to a more strategic approach.

The EU indeed intends to focus communication efforts on key political priorities and activities that demonstrate scale and impact, this means that communication activities will be foreseen and agreed only in specific cases.

You can download the guidelines from this page.

PuntoSud will develop learning material on this as soon as possible.
