Raising knowledge, sharing experiences, empowering organisations
PuntoSud learning department for international cooperation and humanitarian aid professionals
For over 20 years, we’ve been developing the careers of professionals and volunteers working within NGOs, UN agencies, the European Commission, and Member States’ National Agencies, supporting them in dealing with development cooperation and humanitarian aid programmes.
We are committed to making cooperation among grant-recipient organisations and donor agencies more efficient and collaborative. Through our activities, we aim to boost knowledge and empower organisations to develop their own internal control systems to ensure a more efficient use of resources.
We’ve honed our expertise on the rules and implementation modalities of the EU’s main developement cooperation and humanitarian aid actors, such as DG INTPA, DG NEAR, DG ECHO and the EU Delegations. In fact, since 2008 PuntoSud has been the official partner of the European Commission for the provision of training and helpdesk services geared towards all DG ECHO partners and staff.
The PuntoSud Academy is specialised in the design and delivery of learning experiences related to accessing and managing EU grants, project cycle management, financial management, internal control and accountability systems.
Our work aims to support development cooperation and humanitarian aid workers as they carry out the jobs that we believe are of immeasurable value.
