Implementing a DG ECHO funded Action under the Model Grant Agreement
2-days virtual classroom course to provide a practical overview of the main implementation rules to properly manage a DG ECHO funded Action
This course intends to provide a practical overview of the main implementation rules to properly manage an ECHO funded Action. It starts with a brief presentation of the Certification process and the Model Grant agreement; it continues with the analysis of specific situations, covering potentially critical elements faced during implementation: amendments, suspension, procurement, reporting, remaining supplies and it concludes with a comprehensive explanation of all information to be provided at final report stage.
To improve participants’ knowledge of rules applicable of the Model Grant Agreement action and their skills in implementing an ECHO funded Action.
At the end of the course you will be able to:
- better use the provision established by the Model Grant Agreement to manage the different phases of the ECHO funded Action;
- properly manage the flow of communication with ECHO;
- find the relevant information in the FPA and its supporting documents.
NGOs’ staff involved in the implementation, supervision and reporting of ECHO funded Actions, both at field and HQ level. Restricted to DG ECHO implementing partners. Basic knowledge of DG ECHO is desirable but not essential.
