Course Description
This virtual training course intends to cover those elements related to the financial management of a DG ECHO-funded action, according to the provisions established in the Model Grant Agreement. The course targets NGO staff in charge of budget monitoring (including budget preparation, budget amendments and budget-related controls), financial compliance and financial reporting.
Learning Objectives
To improve participants’ knowledge of financial rules applicable to the Model Grant Agreement.
At the end of the course you will be able to:
- better use the financial provision established by the Model Grant Agreement to manage the differentphases of the ECHO funded Action;
- properly manage the flow of communication with ECHO;
- find the relevant information in the MGA and its supporting documents.
NGOs’ staff involved in the implementation, supervision and reporting of ECHO funded Actions, both at the field and HQ level. Restricted to DG ECHO implementing partners. Basic knowledge of MGA is desirable but not essential.
