Face-To-Face Classroom
Training of Trainers (ToT)
3-days training course designed to support development cooperation and humanitarian aid actors by improving their training skills, capacities, and systems to help their team and partners continue bringing benefit to society.
Course Description
Drawing on nearly 25 years of experience, this practical training provides innovative methods for designing and delivering effective learning experiences. Participants will explore adult learning principles and the Experiential Learning Cycle, ensuring that the information provided is meaningfully connected to the different ways in which adults learn.
The course familiarises participants with the required skills and competences of trainers and equips them with a wide range of training techniques and tools that are ready to use.
Participants will also practise group management and effective questioning to foster engagement and handle diverse participant needs and attitudes. Finally, the course demonstrates how to adapt these proven theories and techniques seamlessly to a virtual environment.
To promote meta-learning, the course structure mirrors its content. Participants will see all principles, tools, and techniques modeled live, providing a first-hand look at effective delivery in practice.
